ethen has been asking for a frog cake for a long time now. like since he began talking. i have always turned him down, though.

bad mommy.

but really its because a frog cake is waaaaay too hard to make. until ethen showed me how he wanted it to look.

this i can do! i was thinking he wanted a realistic looking frog. i'm glad he didn't. i liked his idea.

this is how his cake turned out:

not super awesome, but at least the super spy thought it was super awesome. oddly enough, all of the kids in attendance wanted a fly. really bad. like there were a few arguments between the littles about who got one. it all worked out.

happy birthday to my most super spyiest cutest freckly boy. who's now 8.
