happy birthday to "mine" gaven......sniff, sniff.(this is a big year for him, so i have every right to be a little blue about it. he starts kindergarten next fall so i will lose my daytime buddy. lots of big things happen when you're five. lots! at least kindergarten is one of the coolest grades around and you can still be cute and young and be truly cherished for it.)
(fyi--you may have noticed a recurring pattern here with me and birthdays. they make me very happy. but they also make my heart hurt just a little. i wish i could just bottle him up and keep him so cute and sweet and purely innocent. darn it that these cute little people have to get big!)
