there's a storm a brewin'

it's a balmy 86 degrees. the national weather service has just issued a severe thunderstorm warning. no rain yet, but there's lots of lightning and some pretty spectacular clouds mixed with great evening sunlight.

well, it started raining now. that means we're heading back inside for some microwave s'mores (since we don't have any cookies). and to put a certain 9 year old boy (who never wants to go to bed) to bed.
